Appalachian Grown Certification - Certifies food and agricultural products grown or raised on farms in Western North Carolina and the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Appalachian Grown means certified local. Your farm has to be located in an Appalachian Grown county. It has to be a family farm in which the family holds the financial responsibility and the individual applying for the certification has to be the farm owner or manager.
Certified SC Grown - The Certified SC Grown program is a cooperative effort between producers, processors, wholesalers, retailers and the South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) to promote South Carolina products. The program’s goal is to make it easy for consumers to identify, find and buy South Carolina products.
Egg License - We are licensed by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture as a Wholesale Egg Distributor.
Honey License - We are licensed by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture with a Honey Exemption License. That means we can not produce over 400 gallons of honey a year and we can only sale to the end consumer. We can not wholesale our honey.
Meat License - We are inspected by the S.C. Meat & Poultry Inspection Department of the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is the public health regulatory agency responsible for ensuring that United States' commercial supply of meat, poultry, and egg products is safe, wholesome, and correctly labeled and packaged.
